User Filtering & Report

Finding a “Random Stranger” can be difficult when you are re-connected with the same partner every five minutes. The user filter tells the software not to re-connect with the filtered partner. If you feel that someone is abusing the video chat service, you can use the “Report” button to get this user banned in the future.

Browser detect internationalization (Language)

Your browser will automatically detect the users language and will load the respective language file. If no language file is found, the default texts are loaded. Installed languages: English, Spanish, Chinese, French, German, Hungarin, Romanian and Swedish.

System Sounds, Message Alerts and Buzz

SkipCam is using system sounds and soft alerts to notify you when a new connection is established or a new text message is received. If your partner does not pay attention you can use the Buzz button to gain his attention. SkipCam can also use human voices and short instructions powered by MP3 recordings.

Easy to re-design, exchangeable backgrounds

Import the included Flex project into Adobe’s Flash Builder (Flex Builder) and easily re-design you chatroulette website. Choose the layout and design you wish weather it is horizontal or vertical. You don’t need pro-level coding knowledge just a little creativity and some attention. If you messed up something, Flex builder will warn you to undo the wrong move. Changing the background is as simple as pressing a button on the running website.
